A heart-opening tea recipe for self-love

Heart-opening tea recipe

A heart-opening, balancing tea inspired by Ayurveda, featuring herbs that nourish the heart, calm the mind, and promote inner radiance.

Ingredients
•    1 tsp rose petals (cooling, opens the heart chakra, promotes self-love)
•    ½ tsp ashwagandha root (adaptogen, strengthens resilience, soothes stress)
•    ½ tsp cinnamon (warming, boosts circulation, invites joy)
•    ½ tsp cardamom pods (calming, aids digestion, enhances inner harmony)
•    ¼ tsp licorice root (sweet, grounding, supports emotional balance)
•    2 cups hot water
•    Optional: raw honey or maple syrup (adds sweetness, nurtures the spirit)

Instructions:
    1.    In a pot, bring water to a gentle boil.
    2.    Add all herbs and reduce to a low simmer. Let steep for 5–7 minutes.
    3.    Strain into a cup and let cool slightly.
    4.    Stir in honey or maple syrup if desired.
    5.    As you sip, set an intention for self-love—visualize warmth spreading through your heart and body.

This tea is perfect for a morning ritual, an evening wind-down, or any moment when you need to reconnect with yourself. We recommend you pair it with the Plantas Medicinas Hair Ritual.
